TowerBrook-backed Azzurri Group appoints Head of Marketing Communications at Zizzi Restaurants

George Whiting has been appointed Head of Marketing Communications for Zizzi Restaurants.

Most recently, George sat on the leadership team of Founder-led Fireaway Pizza, which launched in 2016 and has grown to over 150 sites.

George began his career at Unilever, working across UK, European and Global brand-building and management roles on foods, spreads and beverages. He was part of its Future Leaders Programme. After this he moved to Suntory for an innovation position and to manage the Lucozade brand. Before joining Fireaway, he spent two years in an innovation and strategy role at KFC UK&I.
