Just over half of FTSE100 businesses in the UK are Consumer Businesses.

By Consumer Businesses, we mean those that market to a mass consumer audience, have operations in the UK, and interact primarily directly with consumers.

Their CEOs have progressed to this level from the following backgrounds:

(This excludes those hired directly into the CEO position, and those who spent their whole careers in the company)
