Pamela Brown joins Vargas as Global CMO

Pamela Brown has been appointed as the global Chief Marketing Officer of the venture capital company Vargas.

Prior to this, Pamela was CMO of Vodafone's Smart Tech unit for four years, leaving her role as Marketing Director of Aldermore Bank in 2017.

Pamela has over 18 years' experience in senior marketing roles, including six years at British Gas and stints at Barclay's and RBS. She began her career at BT.

Vargas was founded by Carl-Erik Lagercrantz and Harald Mix in 2014, with a mission of accelerating change and decarbonisation of global emissions. Since then, Vargas have developed a greenfield model for building impact companies from the ground up, right from the start. Success ventures so far include H2 Green Steel, Northvolt and Polarium.
