Ian Cafferky joins Purplebricks from SailGP where he was most recently CMO  

Prior to this, he was Director of Brands & Marcomms at O2, Chief Brand and Commercial Officer at Manchester City Football Club, and Commercial Finance & Strategy Director at Hachette Livre. He began his career at Accenture.

Founded in 2012, it is backed by investors that include venture capital firm DN Capital as well as Neil Woodford, Paul Pindar, and Errol Damelin. In 2021, it announced its strategic focus was now "fully on the UK", where it planned to accelerate its model, extend its market share, and continue to grow revenue
