Andrew Middleton joins Centrica as Commercial Director, British Gas

Hunter-Miller is delighted to announce that Andrew Middleton is joining Centrica as Commercial Director for British Gas.

Andrew graduated from the University of Cambridge and began his career consulting with RSe and later Monitor Group. He joined easyJet in a group strategy role before moving into the commercial function. Most recently, as Commercial Director, he was accountable for easyJet's European P&L.

Centrica delivered a resilient performance against the backdrop of the Covid-19 crisis during the first half of the year, a period that also saw the appointment of new CEO Chris O'Shea. The sale of US business Direct Energy and launch of British Gas Evolve are part of a mission to put customers at the heart of a simpler, leaner, more modern and more sustainable company.
