Andrew Brem joins Uber to lead UK business

Andrew Brem has been appointed to lead Uber's UK business.

As UK General Manager, Andrew will look after all areas of Uber’s mobility business in the UK.

Andrew was most recently Chief Commercial Officer at British Airways.

Prior to BA, Andrew held the role of Chief Digital Officer for Aviva, and before this launched British Gas's remote heating business Hive.

Andrew began his career at McKinsey, later joining Asda to develop ecommerce and new business lines, before rising to Managing Director of Multichannel Ecommerce and Services at Carphone Warehouse.

Three weeks before this announcement, at the end of March 2022, Uber was granted a two-and-a-half year licence extension to operate private hire vehicles in London.
