Peter Simon joins esure as Chief Trading Officer

Peter Simon is joining Bain Capital-backed insurer esure as Chief Trading Officer, taking up his new position on the Group Executive in October.

At esure, Peter will be responsible for building a world-class trading and underwriting capability, and driving data capabilities across the business.

Beginning his career in consultancy with Deloitte and PwC, Peter then moved client-side to Barclays where he held a number of Managing Director positions. Hunter-Miller then placed him at British Gas as Customer, Product and Propositions Director. He has subsequently served as MD for Centrica Hive Home Solutions, and is currently MD British Gas Energy/New Energy Platforms.
