Zoe Howorth joins AG Barr as Non-Executive Director

Zoe Howorth is joining the AG Barr board as a Non-Executive Director on 1 July.

Zoe has had a successful career spanning a range of roles at Procter & Gamble and The Coca-Cola Company, where she spent 16 years, culminating in her role as UK Marketing Director from 2010-13. Zoe is currently a NED at Water Babies International.

Zoe brings extensive FMCG experience, specifically across the food and beverage sector, as well as consumer brand marketing expertise and direct to consumer digital capabilities. Zoe will Chair the Board's Environmental, Social and Governance Committee.

AG Barr has also announced a new Chairman to succeed John Nicolson, who will step down from the Board prior to the next AGM in May 2022. Mark Allen OBE is appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman designate with effect from 1 July.

Allen brings a wealth of experience from a variety of corporate roles with Shell Group and Dairy Crest Group p.l.c., where he was CEO from 2007 to 2019. In addition, Mark has held Non-Executive roles at Howden Joinery Group p.l.c., Dairy UK, Warburtons, and Norcros p.l.c., and is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Halo Foods Ltd.
