John Lewis Partnership (JLP) has announced the appointment of three new senior hires, focused on online, store estate and marketing.

Steve Masterton joins JLP as Online Trade Director, formerly Digital Director at Dunelm. He has also held positions at Arcadia Group and Orange. JLP has announced a £50m investment in its web and ecommerce operations, with Steve being responsible for ensuring online growth across all categories and services.

Stephen Spencer, who has in the past worked for Tiffany & Co., Apple and HMV joins JLP from lululemon athletica. He will take up his new position of Store of the Future Director at the end of July, and will play a critical role in the business' store estate rebalance.

Formerly eBay's Head of Brand and Marketing, Rosie Hanley will join the business in July in a similar marketing role, ensuring the JLP brand is used consistently across all customer touchpoints and areas of the business. She has previously worked at Dunnhumby in product and insight.
