Aviva appoints Cheryl Toner as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer

Cheryl Toner will join the Group Executive Committee in the new role, which reports to Amanda Blanc.

Cheryl was most recently Marketing Director, Retail Banking, NatWest, and was previously Chief Marketing Officer at AXA UK.

Cheryl spent four years with NatWest Group, joining as marketing director of retail banking in 2017. She previously held senior marketing positions with AXA UK, spending over seven years as CMO. Before that she was head of marketing planning and control at Lloyds TSB.

She will start at Aviva in May 2021, subject to regulatory approval.
